Scottish Disclosures processes Disclosure Scotland checks on behalf of all sizes of businesses and organisations in the private and public sector to meet their disclosure requirements.
An employer or organisation can request a Basic Check for any purpose.
An employer or organisation can request a Standard Check for certain occupations such as Accountants or Taxi Drivers. Positions involved with the provision of a care service are also eligible for Standard checks.
Employers or organisations can request a PVG check through us for individuals performing 'regulated work' with Children and/or Protected Adults in Scotland.
A PVG check ensures people who are unsuitable to work with children and protected adults cannot do regulated work with these vulnerable groups.
